Decree renewing the appointment of Sabah Ahmad Sabah Al-Salem as Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers

A decree was issued in the Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today,” renewing the appointment of Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al-Sabah as Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers.

Article One of Decree No. 138 of 2026 stipulates that Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al-Sabah’s appointment as Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, at the rank of Assistant Undersecretary, is renewed for a period of four years, effective from September 11, 2026. Article Two stipulates that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Council of Ministers Affairs shall implement this decree, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
