Appointment of 4 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Kuwait to Bahrain, China, Jordan, and Austria

Decree No. 139 of 2026 appointing Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors was published in the Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today.” Article One of the decree stipulates the appointment of the following individuals: 1- Jasem Ibrahim Al-Najem as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain. 2- Talal Sulaiman Al-Fasam as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the People’s Republic of China. 3- Sami Ghasab Al-Zamanan as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. 4- Fawaz Abdullah Al-Bursali as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Austria. Article Two of the decree stipulates that the Minister of Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette. Additionally, Decree No. 140 of 2026 appointing an Ambassador in Residence was published in the Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today.” The decree stipulates that Anas Ma’arifi be appointed as Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Kenya, and concurrently as Ambassador in Residence of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Burundi. The decree further stipulates that the Minister of Interior shall implement this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
