Interior Ministry: Eviction of rented stable following arrest of drug dealer in possession of a firearm

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Administration for Combating Narcotics (Local Combating Administration), arrested a Kuwaiti national in possession of various quantities of narcotics and psychoactive substances, a firearm, and ammunition, with intent to traffic.

The arrest followed, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, after necessary investigations confirmed that the suspect possessed the seized materials for trafficking purposes. He was apprehended inside one of the stables rented to him in the Farwaniyah Stables area. The search operations also extended to another location in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.

The Ministry stated that the searches resulted in the seizure of 300 grams of cocaine, 250 grams of hashish, 3,500 capsules of Larica (a psychoactive substance), 1,000 sheets saturated with "Chemical" (a synthetic cannabinoid), 50 grams of methamphetamine (Shabu), a firearm, ammunition, and four sensitive scales.

The statement added that the stable was found to have been rented to the suspect in violation of the designated purpose for the property. The owner of the property is being summoned, and the competent authority is being contacted to take measures to revoke the lease. Any property proven to be exploited for purposes other than its designated use will be revoked, and appropriate legal actions will be taken against the violators.

The suspect and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take legal action against him.
