Public Authority for Investment Constitutes Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways Corporation
The Public Authority for Investment announced the formation of the new board of directors for Kuwait Airways Company, noting that the board held its inaugural meeting and nominated Nasser Al-Rodhan as chairman and Abdulmohsen Al-Mikhaeeem as deputy chairman. In a statement to KUNA, the Authority said that, pursuant to Decree No. 77/2026 regarding the conversion of the company into a wholly state-owned joint-stock company, it formed the new board comprising Nasser Al-Rodhan, Abdulmohsen Al-Mikhaeeem, Nour Al-Jassim, Hanan Al-Faris, and Mishari Al-Hunaidi. It added that the board also includes three independent members with specialized expertise in the aviation sector and related fields: Enrique Dubois, Giles Agter, and Ryan van der Eijk. The formation of the board comes as part of efforts to support the next phase of Kuwait Airways’ development, strengthen corporate governance, and leverage specialized expertise to enhance the company’s efficiency and competitiveness.
