Interior Ministry: Revocation of leasehold on a rented stable for a citizen found in possession of a firearm, narcotics, and pills with intent to traffic

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Administration for Combating Drugs (Local Combating Administration), arrested a citizen in possession of various quantities of narcotics and psychoactive substances, a firearm, and ammunition, with intent to traffic. The arrest operation followed, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, after necessary investigations confirmed that the suspect possessed the seized materials for trafficking purposes. He was apprehended inside one of the stables rented to him in the Farwaniyah Stables area. The search operations also covered another location in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.

The Ministry stated that the searches resulted in the seizure of 300 grams of cocaine, 250 grams of hashish, 3,500 capsules of Larica (a psychoactive substance), 1,000 sheets saturated with “Chemical” (a synthetic drug), 50 grams of Shabu (methamphetamine), a firearm, a quantity of bullets, and four sensitive scales.

The statement added that the stable was found to have been rented to the suspect in violation of its designated purpose. The owner of the property is being summoned, and the relevant authority is being contacted to take measures to revoke the lease. Any property proven to be exploited for purposes other than its designated use will be subject to revocation, and appropriate legal measures will be taken against the violators.

The Ministry confirmed that the suspect and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take legal action against him.
