Food Authority: 9 violations issued and 12,299 kg of food confiscated in Mubarak Al-Kabeer

Nada Abu Nasr: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the inspection department of the Al-Mubarrah Al-Kabir governorate, carried out a joint security and supervisory campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, resulting in the issuance of nine violation reports covering the trade of adulterated food and violations of health requirements, licenses, and health certificates. Additionally, an unknown quantity of adulterated food weighing a total of 12.299 kilograms was seized and destroyed. The Authority confirmed the continuation of its supervisory and inspection rounds to safeguard food safety and consumer health. Furthermore, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the inspection department of the Hawalli governorate, conducted inspection rounds on several food establishments, resulting in the issuance of 32 violation reports, four destruction reports, and two commitments, with the seized quantities destroyed and legal measures taken against violators, in order to ensure compliance with health regulations and protect consumer health.
