Brigadier General Engineer Salah Al-Azmi, Deputy Chief of Staff for the Supply and Logistics Directorate, headed the Kuwaiti military delegation to the 15th meeting of the Kuwait-Egypt Cooperation Committee, held in the sister Arab Republic of Egypt.
The General Headquarters of the Kuwaiti Army stated in a press release that the meeting discussed several issues of mutual interest and explored ways to develop cooperation areas and exchange expertise, thereby supporting joint efforts between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries.
The statement added that Brigadier General Al-Azmi met with his counterpart, Major General Mohamed Kamal, Chief of the Supply and Logistics Directorate of the Egyptian Armed Forces, and Major General Ahmed Omar, Director of Cooperation, exchanging views on several topics related to military cooperation fields and ways to enhance existing coordination between the two sides.
It was noted that Commander of the Naval Force, Commodore Seif Al-Hamalan, met on the sidelines of the meetings with his counterpart, Commodore Mahmoud Fawzi, Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces. They discussed aspects of maritime cooperation and coordination between the two sides and exchanged expertise in several areas of mutual interest.
The meetings were attended by the Kuwaiti Military Attaché in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Brigadier General Dhaeri Al-Hajjar, and several senior commanding officers from both sides.
