Al-Hilal Continues His Victories at the Expense of Al-Shabab

Al Hilal continued their winning streak, securing their fifth consecutive victory as they defeated hosts Al-Shabab 2-0 in Riyadh in the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League. Sergej Milinković-Savić (53') scored a brace for Al Hilal, with the second goal coming from a penalty by Portuguese winger Ruben Neves (87'). The match also featured the debut of new Brazilian signing Gabriel Martinelli, who joined Al Hilal from Arsenal, coming on as a substitute for Sultan Al-Mandash in the 68th minute.

The win lifted Al Hilal’s tally to 15 points, while Al-Shabab remained on three points.

Al-Ahli returned to the winning path with a five-goal thrashing of Al-Riyadh at King Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium. Al-Ahli’s goals came from English striker Ivan Toney (16' and 61', both penalties), Armenian forward Edvard Speritsyan (43'), Portuguese forward Francisco Trincao (45+2'), and substitute Naif Masoud (87').

The victory moved Al-Ahli to nine points, placing them seventh, while Al-Riyadh stayed on four points in 12th place.

Al-Ittihad secured a 1-0 win over Al-Ahli at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium. The match’s only goal was scored by French forward Moussa Dembélé (80'). With this result, Al-Ittihad climbed to nine points in sixth place, while Al-Ahli remained on one point at the bottom of the table.
