New Israeli incursion into Quneitra countryside

Israeli vehicles once again penetrated southern Syria yesterday, as a military force consisting of four armored vehicles stormed the village of Al-Rumaniyah in the Quneitra countryside, set up a temporary checkpoint inside one of its residential neighborhoods, and conducted searches before withdrawing later. Another Israeli military force also penetrated the village of Al-Asbuh in the Quneitra countryside, where a force of five armored vehicles established a temporary checkpoint to inspect passersby, according to the Russia Today news website.

On Thursday, Israeli occupation forces targeted the area around Bat Al-Warda hill in the Damascus countryside with mortar fire, while also penetrating the village of Umm Batatin in the Quneitra countryside and setting up a checkpoint for inspections.

The occupation continues its incursions into Syrian territory in the Daraa and Quneitra governorates. Meanwhile, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has repeatedly affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a new breach of international law, the UN Charter, and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
