"The Teachers": Enhancing the gains of field personnel, safeguarding their rights, and advancing their capabilities and potential

The Kuwait Teachers Association congratulated teachers, both male and female, school administrators, vocational guidance staff, and the broader educational community on the auspicious return with the start of the first working day of the new academic year. It reaffirmed its deep appreciation and pride in their role and mission, expressing full confidence in their dedication to seriousness, commitment, and doing their utmost to fulfill their educational mission to the highest standard.
In a statement, the association expressed its hope that the efforts of Minister of Education Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaie and all ministry leadership would be crowned with success in creating a stable environment for educational professionals, and in completing plans and projects capable of addressing challenges and new developments. It praised the measures taken by the ministry, which are intended to benefit the entire educational system, including the conversion of most services to electronic platforms, such as the electronic transfer decisions for teachers and administrative staff, in line with the wishes of teachers and administrators. This demonstrates the ministry’s seriousness in governing its operations, enhancing oversight, and ensuring justice. Additionally, it highlighted the completion of the curriculum development project across various educational stages, the adoption of a new system for courses (tracks) at the secondary level, and new updates to the educational calendar for upcoming academic years, keeping pace with organizational developments in the educational system. The association also noted the official adoption of the comprehensive regulatory framework for education as a unified reference for the educational process, the commitment to supporting students with talents and scientific abilities, the launch of the gifted students school system, the naming of new schools after names inspired by Kuwaiti heritage, the completion of the leadership structure through the appointment of directors-general for directorates-general, and the strengthening of partnerships among educational institutions to develop professional qualification programs and advance leadership pathways for educational professionals.
The association pointed out in its statement that it continues to communicate with the ministry to convey the observations and insights of educational professionals. It reiterated its commitment to enhancing cooperation, consultation, and coordination, and its full readiness to stand alongside the ministry and all its leaders to strengthen development and reform plans in order to achieve the desired goals of the educational journey. It emphasized its dedication to advancing the gains of teachers, safeguarding their rights, enhancing their capabilities and potential, and providing the necessary and appropriate environment for them to fulfill their mission to the fullest.
The association concluded its statement by affirming its full support for the educational family and the “soldiers of the field” in achieving their legitimate demands and securing suitable educational conditions for them. It reaffirmed its steadfast approach of mobilizing all its energies and resources for their benefit and for the advancement of the educational journey and the realization of its desired goals. At the same time, it looked forward to further cooperation, communication, participation, and engagement in its activities, programs, working committees, and branches in the Al-Ahmadi and Al-Jahra governorates, as well as offering opinions, advice, and presenting issues, visions, and proposals to be considered and implemented, thereby overcoming all difficulties and obstacles that stand in the way of achieving the desired goals and aspirations.
