Explosions heard around Iran's Kharg Island

Iranian media reported on Saturday that “several explosions” were heard near Kharg Island, the country’s main oil port, amid a military escalation with the United States.

The Fars News Agency reported that its correspondent heard the explosions but observed no smoke, while the local ISNA news agency (“Student News Network”) stated that “an Iranian oil tanker was targeted by the United States” near the island.
