Presidents of the UAE and Turkey discuss strengthening bilateral relations and efforts regarding regional developments

Abu Dhabi – KUNA: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday, discussing various avenues of cooperation and collaboration between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a manner that serves their developmental priorities and shared interests, and brings benefits to both peoples. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides reviewed a number of issues and topics of mutual interest, with regional developments and the efforts being made to address them taking precedence. The agency added that both sides emphasized the need to intensify efforts to consolidate the foundations of security and stability in the Middle East region and to advance toward a path of sustainable peace for the benefit of all the peoples and states of the region.
