Al-Qadisiya excels with "victory" and snatches the top spot

Al-Qadsiah overcame the former league leaders Al-Nasr with a 3-0 victory in their match today at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium, as the first round of the Zain Premier League kicked off. With this win, Al-Qadsiah temporarily moved to the top of the table with six points, while Al-Anabi remained on six points in second place.
In the first half, both teams exchanged attacks—one for Al-Nasr and one for Al-Qadsiah—but failed to find proper finishing from their strikers. However, Moroccan player Ayoub Al-Khaddari opened the scoring for Al-Qadsiah in the 15th minute, capitalizing on a cross from a set-piece that Al-Nasr goalkeeper Khaled Al-Ajaji failed to save, sending the ball into the net. Al-Qadsiah added a second goal in the 26th minute after a cross from Muath Al-Zafiri reached Hamza Khaba, who set up Abdulrahman Al-Mashifri to slot it into the goal. Despite Al-Qadsiah’s two-goal lead, Al-Nasr players showed no real response.
In the second half, Al-Qadsiah scored their third goal in the 63rd minute, as a cross from Eid Al-Rashidi found the head of Al-Mashifri. The situation did not change much in the following minutes, with Al-Qadsiah creating chances and Al-Nasr showing confusion, but without posing any significant threat to their opponents. The match was well officiated by referee Abdullah Jamali.
