Real Madrid to face Betis

Real Madrid aim to continue their perfect start when they travel to face Real Betis today, Friday, at the La Cartuja stadium, in the fourth round of the Spanish La Liga. The Spanish champions enter the match in second place in the standings, level on points with top-side Barcelona (9 points), while Real Betis sit seventh with six points from three matches. For his part, Real Madrid’s Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho, stressed the importance of the Real Betis fixture. Mourinho said in comments at a press conference yesterday ahead of the Betis clash: “Real Madrid must be at their best. Real Betis are a very good team, and to win you have to be at your absolute best.” In the same round, Athletic Bilbao will face Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano will take on Racing Santander, and Villarreal will play Deportivo La Coruña tomorrow, Saturday.
