Al-Qarafa announces its squad for the Arab Championship

The Kuwait Volleyball Federation has announced the roster of the national team that will compete in the Arab Championship, scheduled to be held in Jordan on October 5 next year. The squad is led by Argentine coach Julian Alvarez and comprises 25 players: Abdulnasser Al-Anzi, Abdullah Al-Anzi, Abdullah Al-Muina, Abdullah Bawutain, Abdullah Al-Mulla, Nasser Dashti, Fahd Saad, Rashid Anbar, Ali Saadoun, Saud Al-Duwisan, Talal Al-Salman, Mohammed Al-Dhafiri, Ahmed Al-Munees, Hussein Al-Masri, Khalid Buarki, Badr Al-Attar, Fares Al-Siraj, Barak Al-Anzi, Abdulrahman Al-Hashimi, Hassan Al-Qattan, Abdulrahman Al-Mutawa, Nawaf Al-Sana, Abdulaziz Najm, Omar Al-Anzi, and Ibrahim Mandil.
In this context, Federation President Dr. Jaber Al-Mari affirmed that everyone is working tirelessly to bring the national team to peak technical and physical readiness for the tournament, meeting the aspirations of the fans and supporters of the sport. He added, “We have a number of outstanding players capable of fulfilling these ambitions and performing in a manner befitting the reputation of Kuwaiti volleyball, achieving positive results that will help elevate the name and flag of Kuwait at the major Arab international stage.”
Kuwait’s national team finished third in last year’s Arab Challenge Championship, and this edition will count toward the international rankings.
