Kuwait Finance House Participates in the Second Season of the "Preservation at the Heart of the Capital" Initiative

Kuwait Commercial Bank participated in the national initiative “Preservation in the Heart of the Capital,” which was held over three days at The Avenues Mall, under the patronage and presence of Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim, with the attendance of Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, and in collaboration with several other entities, amid broad community participation from various age groups.
The bank’s participation in this initiative underscores its commitment to supporting community initiatives and events that contribute to enhancing public health, encouraging individuals to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, and reinforcing the culture of sports and community engagement, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility program.
On this occasion, Amani Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at the bank, said: “Kuwait Commercial Bank is proud to participate in the ‘Preservation in the Heart of the Capital’ initiative, which represents a distinctive model of cooperation among various sectors aimed at raising awareness of the importance of sports and health, and encouraging community members to adopt a more active lifestyle.”
She added that the initiative’s continuation for its second year reflects its success and positive impact on society, while the strong turnout from diverse age groups demonstrates growing awareness of the importance of physical activity and its role in improving quality of life. She noted that Kuwait Commercial Bank believes corporate social responsibility is an integral part of its role as a national institution, and consistently strives to support initiatives that deliver tangible and positive impacts on society, as well as to strengthen cooperation with Kuwait’s governorates.
The initiative saw the participation of a large number of competitors, including youth, children, seniors, and people of determination, in a walking challenge and step-counting activity, set against an enthusiastic atmosphere that reflected the high level of engagement and interest the event garnered. The initiative also featured a variety of activities, including sports tracks, health awareness workshops, and interactive performances, all aimed at encouraging participants to engage in sports and promote healthy habits.
Amani Al-Wara’ praised the efforts made by all participating entities in organizing the initiative, emphasizing that partnerships and cooperation between government agencies and the private sector play a vital role in the success of such initiatives and in achieving their community objectives.
