Deputy Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Italian Counterpart on Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Regional and International Developments

The fifth round of political consultations between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation took place in the Italian capital, Rome. The Kuwaiti side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, while the Italian side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the consultations addressed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, alongside discussions of the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.

It added that the consultations reflected both sides’ commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and continuing coordination and the exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
