Dissolution of a public benefit association and taking the prescribed legal measures

Sultan Al-Abdan: The Ministry of Social Affairs announced the issuance of a decision to dissolve one of the public benefit associations, in accordance with the ministry’s mandate to supervise and monitor such associations, and in line with the provisions of the laws and regulations governing civil society work in the State of Kuwait.

The ministry clarified that the decision came after completing the prescribed legal and administrative procedures, and following the findings of the relevant authorities’ review and assessment of the association’s status, ensuring compliance with legal provisions and safeguarding the integrity of institutional operations.

The ministry reaffirmed its continued oversight of public benefit associations and its commitment to taking necessary measures in accordance with the law, thereby reinforcing adherence to the legislations and regulations governing civil society organizations and preserving the objectives for which these institutions were established.

It added that the procedures resulting from the dissolution will be completed in accordance with the relevant legal provisions and regulatory decisions.
