Alaa Khalifa: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, congratulated the sons and daughters of the students admitted for the 2026/2027 academic year, following the completion of admission results across various public higher education institutions and both domestic and external scholarships. He prayed for their success and achievement in their upcoming academic journey, urging them to harness the knowledge and expertise they acquire to serve their country and contribute to its progress and advancement.
Minister Al-Jalal clarified that the Ministry, in coordination with higher education institutions, has been keen on providing diverse educational options within Kuwait and abroad for high school graduates from government and private schools across different educational systems for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic years. He also highlighted the expansion of majors that meet labor market needs, emphasizing that admission results to public higher education institutions and domestic and external scholarships were conducted in accordance with the conditions and standards adopted by each entity, after students fulfilled the admission requirements. This approach reinforces the principle of equal opportunity and fairness, while broadening pathways for students to continue their studies in alignment with their qualifications and preferences.
He noted that the university stage is a pivotal milestone in students’ journeys, where their knowledge is shaped, their capabilities are developed, and their experiences are enriched, thereby preparing them to confidently transition into professional life. He stressed that providing educational opportunities for Kuwaiti youth is not merely about university admission, but rather an investment in a generation that will bear the responsibility of building the nation’s future.
