Al-Jabal Al-Jismi and Tamer Ashour inaugurate “Laylat Omar 2026”

Yasser Al-Ayila The artistic scene in Kuwait is preparing to welcome a new musical season with the launch of the “Laylat Omr 2026” festival, which promises its audience a series of exceptional concerts featuring an elite of the most prominent singing stars in the Arab world.

The festival’s kickoff will take place on October 2 at the Kuwait Arena Hall, through a major concert bringing together the eminent Emirati star Hussein Al-Jismi, known as “Al-Jabal” (The Mountain), with his warm voice and distinctive presence, and the Egyptian star Tamer Ashour, one of the leading figures of romantic song and a holder of a unique sensibility.

The two stars are expected to present a selection of their most beautiful musical works during the evening, in a night that blends musical delight, emotion, and passion, making it one of the most anticipated concerts in the coming period.

For his part, Abdulaziz Al-Zaidi, chairman of the board of directors of Laylat Omr, the production company behind the concert, affirmed the company’s commitment to providing all artistic and organizational resources to ensure the event is held in a manner befitting the festival’s name and stature. He pointed to the preparations for delivering a comprehensive musical experience based on the latest sound, lighting, and visual effects technologies.

Al-Zaidi added that the concert is a continuation of the previous successes achieved by the festival with singer Hussein Al-Jismi and singer Tamer Ashour, who had previously participated in its events. He emphasized that the company’s ambition is to offer a different level of mass concerts that combine organizational excellence, artistic performance brilliance, and visual grandeur.

Al-Zaidi revealed that ticket sales for the concert begin at 8 p.m. today, urging the public to prepare for the launch of a musical season full of stars and surprises.

The ambitions of the “Laylat Omr 2026” festival do not stop at the opening concert. A number of major musical events featuring a galaxy of top singers and first-tier stars from the Arab world will be announced sequentially, in a season expected to bring many artistic surprises to the audience of Arabic song in Kuwait.
