Iraqi Kurdistan: International Coalition Destroys 10 Booby-Trapped Drones That Breached Erbil's Airspace

The Counter-Terrorism Service of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced that coalition forces intercepted and destroyed 10 explosive-laden drones in the airspace of Erbil Province. The service stated in a press release that the successful response prevented any casualties or injuries, noting that all drones were shot down before reaching their targets. For his part, Erbil International Airport Director Ahmed Hoshiyarfi said that air traffic at the airport is proceeding normally, adding that there are no decisions to suspend flights.
