Awwab condemns attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan: Negative impact on energy market security and stability

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) expressed its strong condemnation and deep indignation at the attacks targeting Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which constitute violations of the sovereignty of these states and pose a threat to their security, stability, and territorial integrity. In a press statement, the General Secretariat affirmed its full solidarity with the three countries and its steadfast support for all measures they undertake to safeguard their security and sovereignty, emphasizing that the security and stability of Arab states are an integral part of the security and stability of the region. It further noted that the continuation of such attacks and escalation in the region would negatively impact the security and stability of energy markets and could affect the safety and continuity of oil and gas supplies, underscoring the importance of ensuring the security of energy facilities, routes, and supplies in the region.
