Speaker of the Arab Parliament Condemns Renewed Overt Iranian Attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Al-Yamahi, strongly condemned the renewed brazen Iranian attacks using missiles and drones that targeted Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, affirming the Parliament’s solidarity with the three countries in confronting these aggressions. In a statement, Al-Yamahi warned of the dangerous escalation pursued by Iran, which threatens the security and stability of the region, expressing the Arab Parliament’s complete rejection of any attacks that undermine the security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Arab states. He emphasized the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan in the measures they are taking to safeguard their security, stability, territorial integrity, and citizens. Al-Yamahi called on the international community to take immediate and serious action to prevent the recurrence of such attacks, given their dangerous repercussions on the security and stability of the region, as well as on regional and international security. He stressed the necessity of adhering to the principles of international law, the rules of good neighborliness, respect for state sovereignty, and prioritizing dialogue-based approaches to contribute to de-escalation and preserve the security and stability of the region.
