Qatar: Urgent need for an immediate and complete halt to all military operations and a serious return to negotiations

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the renewed attacks launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the territories of the sister Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the sister Kingdom of Bahrain, and the sister State of Kuwait. It considers these attacks a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the targeted states, and a flagrant breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the continuation of these attacks constitutes a serious escalation that could complicate efforts to contain tensions, undermine political and diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in the region, and hold the Islamic Republic of Iran fully legally responsible for these attacks and their ensuing repercussions and consequences.
Qatar reaffirmed its full solidarity with the sister states and its support for all legitimate measures they undertake to preserve their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The Ministry stressed the urgent need for an immediate and complete halt to all military actions and attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region, refraining from any acts that could widen the scope of escalation, and returning seriously to the path of dialogue and negotiations, as well as adhering to the understandings achieved through diplomatic efforts.
