US President: I am not trying to force Iran to sit at the negotiating table

U.S. President Donald Trump said he does not care at all whether the Iranians sign an agreement they view as worthless.

He added in a post on his platform, Truth Social: “I am not trying to force Iran to sit at the negotiating table, as the fake ABC News channel claimed. I don’t care at all if they sign an agreement that holds no value for them. I much prefer our current situation, in which we have near-total control of the Strait of Hormuz, while their economy is completely collapsing. They are simply doing what is inevitable. When will the Iranian people rise up and fight?”
