President of the UAE and Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq discuss bilateral relations and common issues

The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held talks with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, on various aspects of the fraternal relations between the UAE and Iraq in general, and the Kurdistan Region in particular, as well as ways to develop cooperation that would bring benefits to the two brotherly peoples and contribute to realizing their aspirations for development and a more prosperous future. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that this took place on Tuesday during His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s reception of Masrour Barzani, in the presence of the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The agency added that the two sides exchanged views on a number of issues and topics of mutual interest, and reaffirmed the importance of working to consolidate the foundations of security, stability, and lasting peace in the Middle East region, in the interest of all its peoples.
