Kuwait condemns and denounces the incursion of an Israeli occupation official into Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and rejection of the incursion by an Israeli occupation official, accompanied by groups of extremist settlers, into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under the protection of occupation forces, in violation of international law and as a provocation to Muslim sentiments. The Ministry emphasized Kuwait’s firm rejection of all attempts to alter the historical and legal status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, stressing the necessity for the international community to assume its responsibilities to halt these repeated violations. Kuwait reaffirmed its steadfast position supporting the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Ministry also condemned the events that took place in the capital city of Niamey, Republic of Niger. The Ministry affirmed Kuwait’s solidarity with the Republic of Niger and its support for all measures undertaken by Niger to safeguard its security and stability.
