In Video: Al-Yousef Directs Enhancing the Competence and Accuracy of Forensic Evidence Results

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, conducted an inspection visit yesterday to the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, to review the progress of operations, performance levels, and key technical and technological developments, as part of his commitment to monitoring and enhancing the work system across various sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

He was received by the Head of the Criminal Security Affairs Sector, Brigadier General Fahad Mohammed Al-Badr, the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, Brigadier General Abdulrahim Mohammed Al-Awadi, and his deputy, Brigadier General Mishaari Badr Al-Risha, along with several department directors and their assistants.

During the visit, and according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Al-Yousef listened to a welcome address in which the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence outlined the administration’s plans and aspirations to continue development and elevate work standards. He also viewed a visual presentation on the role of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice field and its applications in identity verification and forgery detection.

He further conducted an inspection tour covering several departments and laboratories, during which he reviewed the nature of operations, procedural mechanisms, and the specialized technical services provided by the administration.

At the conclusion of the visit, the First Deputy Prime Minister issued a number of supportive directives aimed at advancing development and improving performance, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and result accuracy and contributing to strengthening the security system.
