Indian who stabbed colleague to death with four stabs in Al-Abdali Farms referred to the Public Prosecution

Abdullah Qanais: Al-Jahra Criminal Investigation Department officers referred an Indian national, born in 1996, to the Public Prosecution yesterday, following allegations that he killed his fellow countryman, born in 1992, with four stab wounds, due to prior disputes between them. The investigation team attached the suspect’s confessions and the knife used in the crime to the case file.

According to a security source speaking to Al-Anbaa, the Interior Ministry’s operations received a report yesterday morning of a bloody fight inside one of the farms in the Abdali area. Security forces immediately responded to the scene, where they discovered that the Indian national had died from four stab wounds. Initial examination revealed that the suspect, who shares the same nationality, had fled.

The source added that investigators intensified their inquiries and managed to locate the suspect’s hiding place, arresting him inside one of the farms. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to committing the crime, stating that a dispute had arisen between him and the victim over previous work-related issues, which escalated into a fight that ended with the suspect stabbing his colleague.

Legal procedures were taken against the suspect, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigations.
