Axios: U.S. official says we targeted two Iranian missile launch platforms on Larak Island

The US news website Axios quoted a US official as saying that US forces carried out a strike targeting two Iranian missile launch platforms on Larak Island.

The US official clarified that the strike came after monitoring preparations by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to launch missiles toward the Strait of Hormuz.

For its part, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported that two people were killed in the strike, noting that it was carried out by a drone.
