Wife's Statement: My Ex-Husband Fled with Our Child!

A Kuwaiti woman, born in 1988, filed a report at a police station accusing her non-Kuwaiti ex-husband of kidnapping their son, born in 2019, after he failed to bring the child for a court-ordered visitation appointment. The complainant stated in her testimony that she waited for her child to arrive at the scheduled visitation time, but her ex-husband did not bring him. This prompted her to contact him to inquire about his whereabouts, only to be surprised when he informed her that he had left for another country and taken the child with him. She then proceeded to the police station and filed a report on the incident. The Public Prosecution was notified, which ordered the registration of a case and requested investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department to ascertain the circumstances of the incident and verify the child’s location.
