"Abnormal" Detention at Sabah Al-Salem Police Station

Ahmad Khamis: A security patrol resolved an unusual situation in the Sabah Al-Salem area after receiving a report from the operations room about a person suspected of being unsteady. Security personnel arrived at the scene and observed a citizen, born in 1989, in an abnormal condition and emitting a foul odor. A security source stated that the citizen was detained and taken to the police station to take legal action and register a case regarding the incident. He added that the detained citizen would be referred to the forensic department to determine the substance that caused his condition and to ascertain whether it was a narcotic or alcoholic beverage.
