Decree to include the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment as a member of the Supreme Petroleum Council

Decree No. 135 of 2026 was issued in the Official Gazette “Kuwait Today,” adding the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment to the membership of the Supreme Council of Petroleum. The articles stipulate as follows:

Article (1): The Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment is added to the membership of the Supreme Council of Petroleum, as constituted under Article (1) of the decree establishing the Supreme Council of Petroleum.

Article (2): The Prime Minister and the ministers shall each implement this decree within their respective areas of responsibility. This decree shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
