The Amir received the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, First Deputy Prime Minister, and the Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs

His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled. His Highness also received His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, the Prime Minister. His Highness received the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef. His Highness also received the Minister of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber.

On another note, His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, sent a message of condolence to President Ram Chandra Poudel, President of friendly Nepal. In his message, His Highness, may God protect him, conveyed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the victims of the floods and landslides that struck northern Nepal, which resulted in numerous casualties, injuries, and missing persons, and caused significant damage to public facilities and property. His Highness prayed for the swift recovery of the injured, the safe return of the missing, and for the authorities in the friendly country to be able to contain and overcome the impacts of this natural disaster.
