Hot and humid weather with a chance of light rain overnight

The Director of the Meteorology Department, Deputy Director Dharar Al-Ali, said that the country is experiencing extremely hot and relatively humid weather on the coasts today, Sunday, with a chance of light rain at night, noting that the maximum temperature reached 50 degrees Celsius.

Al-Ali told KUNA that relative humidity will decrease tomorrow, Monday, and the weather will remain extremely hot with moderate northwesterly winds, with maximum temperatures reaching 47 degrees Celsius. He noted that the country will experience extremely hot conditions in the coming days, with activity from northwesterly winds stirring up dust in some exposed areas.

He forecast that the weather on Tuesday will be hot with a chance of dust, while Wednesday and Thursday will also be hot, with noticeable activity from dust-stirring winds, and maximum temperatures ranging between 44 and 45 degrees Celsius. He urged citizens and residents to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours, drink plenty of water, and exercise caution regarding the expected dust in the middle of the week.
