Fire Department draws lots for 731 applicants; 130 candidates accepted for officer training courses

With the presence and direct supervision of Major General Talal Al-Roumi, Head of the General Fire Force, the General Fire Force conducted a public lottery yesterday morning for candidates applying for the Bachelor of Fire Engineering Technology Officer Course and the Diploma in Fire Science Officer Course. A total of 731 eligible candidates participated in the lottery, from which 130 candidates were selected: 30 candidates for the Bachelor’s program out of 72 eligible applicants, and 100 candidates for the Diploma program out of 659 eligible applicants. The lottery took place in the presence of members of the main interviews and admissions committee, in accordance with established procedures and criteria.
The General Fire Force emphasized that selected candidates will undergo advanced medical examinations as a final step for admission, ensuring compliance with all specified requirements and standards.
At the conclusion of the lottery, Major General Talal Mohammad Al-Roumi, Head of the General Fire Force, congratulated the admitted candidates, wishing them success and achievement in their professional careers, and expressing hope that they would contribute to serving their country with utmost competence and capability.
