First Deputy issues a decree amending the regulations for forming the committee to oversee the affairs of trade union organizations

The official gazette “Kuwait Al-Yawm” published a decision by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, regarding the amendment of Article (2) of Decision No. (3) of 2025, concerning the formation of an administrative committee to manage the affairs of the Syndicate Organization in the absence of a board of directors.

The ministerial decision issued under No. (5) of 2026 stipulated the following:

Article (First): The text of Article (2) of the aforementioned Ministerial Decision No. (3) of 2025 is replaced with the following text:

Article (2): The committee shall be formed by a decision from the competent Minister, composed of individuals with expertise and competence. The committee may enlist the services of specialists it deems necessary to carry out its duties, provided that such specialists shall not have voting rights.

Article (Second): This decision shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. Competent authorities are tasked with implementing it within their respective jurisdictions.
