In Video: Joint field campaign in "Na'at Shamlan" to monitor violations and apprehend violators

The General Administration of the Coast Guard, represented by the Maritime Security Department, conducted a field operation in the East area, specifically in the Shamlan depression, in coordination and cooperation with the General Security Sector, the General Fire Force, the Environmental Police Department, the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, and the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries Resources, to monitor violations and verify the status of individuals and vessels present at the site.

The operation resulted in questioning 152 individuals, documenting 32 abandoned vessels with a view to taking necessary measures regarding them, as well as issuing three violations by the General Fire Force.

Additionally, the operation led to the apprehension of two individuals in an abnormal state and another individual for whom an arrest warrant had been issued.

The participating authorities took the necessary legal and administrative measures against the violators, each according to its jurisdiction.

The General Administration of the Coast Guard emphasized the continuation of its field operations in collaboration with relevant authorities, contributing to curbing violations and enhancing security and safety in marine and coastal areas.
