Ronaldo Leads Al-Nassr to Fourth Victory
Veteran Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo led his club Al-Nassr to their fourth victory, this time defeating visitors Al-Taawoun 2-1 in the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League. Al-Taawoun took the lead through Bassam Al-Harji in the 11th minute, before Al-Nassr responded with goals from Portuguese players Samu Costa in stoppage time of the first half (45+5) and Ronaldo in the 50th minute. Al-Nassr moved up to 12 points from four consecutive wins, while Al-Taawoun remained stuck on two points. Al-Hilal secured a convincing 5-1 victory over Al-Ghaf. The five goals were scored by French midfielder Mohamed Kader Miti (15), Serbian striker Sergej Milinković-Savić, French forward Theo Hernández (40), Dutch winger Cleiton Silva (43), and Sultan Mandash (45+2), while Al-Ghaf’s sole goal came from Saleh Al-Amri (38). Al-Hilal’s tally rose to nine points, placing them second, while Al-Ghaf remained on three points in 13th place. Al-Wehdat defeated Abha 3-2, and Al-Riyadh beat Neom 1-0.
