Kuwait U-19 Team Surpasses Jordan in Asian Youth Championship

Kuwait officials: Our national team defeated Jordan 25-23 yesterday evening in the classification matches of the 11th Asian Junior Handball Championship, held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Al-Azraq player Abdulhadi Barak was named Man of the Match. Our national team, the winners, will face Saudi Arabia against Uzbekistan tomorrow in a match to determine fifth and sixth place. Al-Azraq had previously qualified for the quarter-finals from Group 2 by finishing third with four points, losing to South Korea 28-36, and missed their chance to qualify for the 2027 World Cup finals.
