Housing Authority Launches Tender for Construction and Maintenance of Public Buildings in N5 and N6 Districts in Al-Mutlaa

In the context of its strenuous efforts to provide infrastructure requirements and integrated services in new residential cities, the Public Authority for Housing Welfare announced the launch of a public tender for the construction, completion, and maintenance of public buildings in suburbs N5 and N6 of the Matlaa City residential project, open to local and non-local companies interested in participating.

The Authority set the tender’s timeline according to the following schedule: the launch date is today, the 30th; the deadline for submitting inquiries is September 15; and the closing date is September 30.

In a move underscoring the Authority’s commitment to accelerating work pace and ensuring quality execution without delay, the Housing Authority established clear and strict regulations for participating companies, including the following:

- Prohibiting the participation of any company that has an active penalty imposed in state tenders and projects.

- Excluding companies that have ongoing contracts under execution and are delayed in delivering any part of the project by more than 50% of the total contract duration beyond the contractual completion date, until the contract in question is officially settled.

- Preventing companies that have ongoing projects or current contracts signed with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, where the total value of remaining work exceeds 50 million Kuwaiti dinars as of the tender’s launch date, from applying for the new tender.
