Saudi Arabia and Pakistan discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and a number of issues of mutual interest. The Pakistani military said in a statement on Friday that this took place during a meeting held by Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir with Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadli at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Punjab province, northeastern Pakistan. The statement reaffirmed the deep fraternal relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reiterated Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening the long-term strategic partnership between the two brotherly nations. For his part, Minister Al-Fadli praised Pakistan’s positive role in enhancing regional peace and stability, expressing the Kingdom’s desire to bolster cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of agriculture and environmental sustainability.
