Ministry of Higher Education: Registration of third-stage applicants' preferences for government universities and institutes begins

Cairo – Ahmed Sabri: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the Electronic Coordination Office for admission to public universities and institutes will begin accepting applications for preference registration by third-phase students who passed the 2026 secondary school examinations, with a minimum score of 50% under both the new and old systems, as well as by students who failed to register their preferences during the first and second phases, starting on August 29, 2026. This can be done through the Electronic Coordination Office website for public universities and institutes on the internet.

Preference registration for third-phase students, as well as those who did not register during the first and second phases, will continue until Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research urged students wishing to register their preferences during the third phase to strictly adhere to the specified deadlines, follow the instructions published on the Electronic Coordination Office website, and ensure that their preferences are correctly registered before the registration period ends.
