Deputy Foreign Minister: Kuwait keen to continue supporting the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and enhancing its role

Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan met with Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), on the sidelines of the 23rd Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, held at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah, to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Ambassador Al-Mushaan congratulated Ould Cheikh Ahmed on his election as Secretary-General of the OIC, wishing him success and prosperity in carrying out his duties, and reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing its support for the Organisation and enhancing its role in serving the causes of the Islamic world.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Al-Mushaan also met with Haimun Kabir, State Minister for External Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, during which they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and explored ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields, as well as exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Additionally, Ambassador Al-Mushaan met with Fatoumata Jau, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Communities Abroad of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, during which they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and discussed ways to enhance and develop them in various areas.
