Labor Authority Raids Doctor Who Advertised Injections of Unlicensed Substances in Al-Mesaileh Area

Kuwait officials: The Public Authority for Manpower announced the apprehension of a doctor who advertised the injection of unapproved substances in the Musail area. In a statement published on its website, the authority said that the Labor Inspection Department detected a doctor, working as a general practitioner, advertising via social media the provision of services involving the injection of substances not approved by the Ministry of Health at her residence in the Musail area.

It added that, based on monitoring and follow-up activities, the Public Authority for Manpower, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior (represented by the Criminal Security Sector) and the Ministry of Health (represented by the Medical Licensing Department and the Drug Inspection Department), and after obtaining the approval of the relevant authorities, apprehended the doctor and took legal action against her, referring the case to the competent authorities.
