Kuwait U-19s to face South Korea in the Asian Championship today

Yaqoub Al-Adwani: Our national team faced South Korea this afternoon at the Princess Sumaya Hall in Jordan, as part of the quarterfinals of the Asian Handball Championship for Juniors, held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Blue Team qualified for the knockout stage by earning four points and finishing third in Group Two of the preliminary round, having defeated the national teams of Saudi Arabia and Syria, while losing to Qatar and Iran.

The Blue Team prepared for the tournament through a local training camp, beginning their preparations in the country before moving to an external training camp in Slovenia and Croatia. They then returned home and held an indoor training camp at Arena Mall. The national team is led by a technical staff comprising Icelandic coach Stefan Arnason and national coach Khaled Al-Mulla, who have put the final touches on their preparations by intensifying tactical training and refining appropriate defensive strategies for the upcoming match.
