Defense Minister Discusses Coordination Between the Armed Forces of the Two Countries and Development of Joint Work Areas with Pakistani Army Chief and Chief of General Staff

Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali met with the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir, as part of the official visit program to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed existing coordination between the armed forces of the two countries, opportunities for developing areas of joint cooperation, and exchanged views on several topics related to bilateral relations, contributing to the enhancement and development of defense cooperation between the two friendly nations.

Attending the meeting were Chief of General Staff of the Army, Major General Khalid Al-Sharhan, and Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nasar Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.

The Defense Minister and the accompanying delegation returned to Kuwait this evening. They were welcomed upon arrival by the Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Sheikh M. Mahmoud Al-Mubarak, the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Army, Major General and Air Marshal Sheikh Sabah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and members of the Military Defense Council.
