Deputy Minister of Health Inspects Al-Ruqa'i School Health Center: Streamlining Procedures for Student and Parent Reception and Accelerating Transaction Processing

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah conducted a field visit to the Al-Ruqa’i School Health Center to review operations and monitor the readiness of health services provided to students, as well as to assess the preparations and arrangements implemented ahead of the start of the academic year. During the tour, the Deputy Minister followed up on the registration procedures for new students at school health centers, including clinical examinations and the opening of health records. He also reviewed the mechanisms for receiving students and their parents, as well as the stages of processing procedures, ensuring that all health requirements for students are fulfilled before the commencement of the school year.

Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah directed that procedures for receiving students and their parents be facilitated and that transactions be expedited, thereby enhancing workflow efficiency and improving the experience of beneficiaries. He emphasized the importance of early preparedness and ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place to welcome students. He also stressed the need to fully equip school clinics and confirm their readiness before the start of the academic year, enabling them to fulfill their role in providing health and preventive care to students from the first day of the school year.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that school health services constitute a vital pillar of the healthcare and preventive system for students, through promoting healthy behaviors, prevention, and early detection of health issues, thereby supporting students’ health and safety throughout their various academic stages. At the conclusion of the visit, he directed the continuation of field follow-up and coordination with relevant authorities to complete preparations in accordance with established plans, contributing to the provision of a healthy, safe, and comprehensive school environment for students with the launch of the new academic year.
