The Meteorology Authority stated that the country’s weather over the weekend will generally be very hot during the day and hot to warm at night, with relative humidity along coastal areas and the appearance of low to mid-level clouds.
The Acting Director of the Authority, Dharar Al-Ali, told KUNA that weather maps indicate the country will be affected by an extension of the Indian monsoon trough, accompanied by a very hot and relatively humid air mass. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest, becoming variable and light at times.
Al-Ali forecast that the weather on Friday daytime will be very hot and relatively humid along coastal areas, with winds shifting from variable to southeasterly, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour. Scattered clouds will appear, with maximum temperatures expected to range between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius. The sea will be calm to slightly rough, with wave heights between 1 and 3 feet.
He noted that Friday night’s weather will be hot to warm and relatively humid along coastal areas, with winds shifting from variable to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour. Scattered clouds will appear, while minimum temperatures are expected to range between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius. The sea will be calm, with wave heights between 1 and 3 feet.
Regarding Saturday’s daytime weather, Al-Ali predicted it will be very hot, with winds shifting from variable to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour. Scattered clouds will appear, with maximum temperatures expected to range between 48 and 50 degrees Celsius. The sea will be calm to slightly rough, with wave heights between 1 and 3 feet.
He added that Saturday night’s weather will be hot to warm, with winds from the northwest to variable, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour. Scattered clouds will appear, while minimum temperatures are expected to range between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius. The sea will be calm to slightly rough, with wave heights between 1 and 3 feet.
