Ahmad Khamees, an Indian expatriate, died after falling from the top floor of a residential building in the Hawalli area. The Public Prosecution has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to conduct the necessary inquiries to determine the circumstances and details of the incident, and to ascertain whether there are grounds for suspecting foul play in his death.

Interior Ministry operations received a report of a person falling from a building. Upon arrival, security officers were informed by the building’s caretaker that the deceased was one of its residents, living with others in a shared apartment. The caretaker added that he heard a loud impact sound, and when he went out to investigate, he was surprised to find the expatriate lying on the ground, having passed away. When asked whether there were other people inside the apartment at the time of the incident, he stated that he was unaware of such details.

A case has been registered regarding the incident, while investigators continue their inquiries to prepare a report detailing the circumstances of the deceased’s fall and to verify whether the death resulted from an accidental fall or involves suspicious circumstances.
